Saturday night in Taunton, Evans scored the first goal of the game, set up brilliantly by Cat Whitehill and Julie King. Whitehill sent the ball a good 40 yards out wide to King, who came streaking down the left flank. King's cross found Evans in front, and the second-year Breaker gave Boston a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. Two minutes later, Schoepfer hit a low-driven ball past UConn keeper Emily Armstrong to put the Breakers ahead, 2-0.

Just past 20 minutes, Evans scored her second goal of the match, a stunning strike into the upper 90. Evans completed her hat trick 10 minutes into the second half, this time rocketing the ball from 20 yards out, sneaking it just under the bar to give the Breakers a 4-0 advantage. Stewart came on in the 60th minute and immediately made an impact, scoring two goals in less than 10 minutes for the 6-0 final.

Chelsea Stewart heads upfield against UConn. Stewart scored two goals in the win.

"It was our final dress rehearsal before Seattle, and I thought we did a really good job," Boston Breakers head coach Tom Durkin said. "We played with high intensity. They did very well."
