Thursday will mark Sanderson’s second straight World Cup qualifier this year. She scored one goal April 5 in a 9-0 win against Montenegro. The victory solidified England’s place atop World Cup qualifying Group 6.

This week’s match against Ukraine also will take place in England, this time at Shrewsbury Town’s Greenhous Meadow. England has four more World Cup qualifiers on the calendar this year: June 14 away to Belarus, June 19 at Ukraine, on the road at Wales Aug. 21, and at Montenegro Sept. 17.
