Boston Breakers midfielder Leslie Osborne will spend two weeks in London with friend and soccer personality, former pro player, and TV broadcaster Temryss Lane to do a fun and exciting webseries, The Checklist. The duo will try to complete a bucket list of sorts, and you can follow their journey online. Osborne and Lane first landed in Manchester, visited Etihad Stadium, home of 2011/12 English Premier League winners, Manchester City, and filmed a piece for Kick TV. Now, they’re in London for the next 12 days to begin their checklist quest.

"We have about 20 bucket list challenges, and the fans will get to see them and play an influence on what we try and go after," Osborne said, checking in Wednesday morning from en route to London from Manchester. "Her (Lane) love is football. It’s what bonded us, but also we have always wanted to do something together. Because of the connections and expierence and for the people who believe and support us, we were able to make this happen."

According to the ChecklistTV website, the series "will follow the friends throughout their travels as they attempt to accomplish and check off a list of challenges during grand world celebrations. Watch to see who they encounter, what athletes they challenge, and what iconic locations they visit to experience foreign lands in a whole new light. Appropriately, the first season kicks off this Summer in London during the 2012 Olympic Games. Use the hashtag #CheckYourList to join the conversation!"

The Checklist has partnered with Ethan Zohn’s Grassroot Soccer, a platform to help the fight against HIV/AIDS. As items are accomplished on The Checklist, it will, in turn help check off a task from the recipient foundation’s list of needs. Osborne and Lane have several ideas on their "checklist," so stay tuned over the course of the next two weeks to find out.

So how did this idea come about? Well, according to Osborne, it was mostly Lane’s doing.

"Temryss interviewed the guys from the MTV show The Buried Life. They pretty much inspired her, along with our production crew, to do something like it," Osborne said, alluding the to the MTV reality show that features four guys trying to do "100 things before they die."

"We have always wanted to do something together," Osborne added, "but because of my soccer schedule, we never really were able to. It was a bit ambitious, but worked it out great."

Now that Osborne and Lane have arrived in London, let the games begin. You can follow them on various social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the ChecklistTV website.
