Four Breakers set to compete in international tournaments

(Feb. 28, 2017) – Four Boston Breakers are set to begin play in various international tournaments this week.

Defender Allysha Chapman and Canada and midfielder Amanda Da Costa and Portugal will compete in the Algarve Cup in Portugal. On Wednesday, March 1, Portugal plays Russia and Canada takes on Denmark. Both games kick off at 10 a.m. ET. Friday, March 3 sees Canada go up against Russia (10 a.m. ET) and Portugal face Denmark (2 p.m. ET). On Monday, March 6, Chapman and Da Costa go head to head as Canada plays Portugal at 2 p.m. ET. The finals of the Algarve Cup are set for Wednesday, March 8.

Midfielder Rosie White and New Zealand will compete in the Cyprus Cup, facing Scotland on Wednesday, March 1 (7:30 a.m. ET). They then take on Austria on Friday, March 3 (7:30 a.m. ET) and South Korea on Monday, March 6 (10:30 a.m. ET). The finals of the Cyprus Cup are on Wednesday, March 8.

Midfielder Rose Lavelle and the U.S. Women’s National Team open up the SheBelieves Cup on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. ET against Germany. The match will air live on Fox Sports 1. On Saturday, March 4, the U.S. plays England at 5 p.m. ET (live on Fox), and on Tuesday, March 7, the U.S. goes up against France at 7 p.m. ET (live on Fox Sports 1).
