Breakers waive goalkeeper Libby Stout

(May 10, 2017) – The Boston Breakers announced today that they have waived goalkeeper Libby Stout.

“I would like to thank Libby for all her hard work and dedication. We will miss her personality around the locker room, and I wish her every success in the future,” Boston Breakers head coach Matt Beard said.

Stout joined the Breakers on Nov. 23, 2015, signing as a Discovery Player after spending two years at Liverpool LFC. In 2016 with the Breakers, Stout made 10 appearances (nine starts) and led the team with 42 saves. She finished with 2.10 goals against average.

The Breakers return to action Sunday, May 14, at Chicago (6 p.m. ET kickoff) before returning to Boston on Friday, May 19, at 7 p.m. ET to take on Portland Thorns FC. Tickets are available by calling 617-945-1704 or by visiting breakerstickets.com.
