Breakers season ticket holders have preferred access to purchase Copa America tickets

(Dec. 17, 2015) - Full Boston Breakers season ticket holders are eligible to have preferred access to purchase tickets for Copa America Centenario. This opportunity is also open to those who have paid a deposit on 2016 season tickets but you must pay the remaining amount by Jan. 16, 2016 to be eligible.

Copa America Cenenario is an official FIFA sanctioned tournament commemorating the 100th Anniversary of CONMEBOL taking place in the U.S. from June 3 to June 26, 2016. It will feature an expanded field of 16 teams, with 10 teams from CONMEBOL and six teams from CONCACAF.

Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., is one of 10 venues that were selected to host games during the 2016 Copa America. Brazil, which was awarded a group seed (Group B) will play at Gillette on June 12. A quarterfinal-round match will be held at Gillette on June 18. 

As the host nation of the historic 2016 Copa America Centenario, the U.S. Men's National Team will be the top seed in Group A of the tournament. The U.S. will open group play at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on June 3 before continuing its Copa run in Chicago at Soldier Field on June 7 and Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field on June 11.

Mexico has also been awarded a group seed (C), while Argentina, as the highest FIFA-ranked nation in the Americas (per December FIFA rankings), will be seeded at the top of Group D.
