Breakers receive two draft picks for midfielder Mariah Nogueira

 The Boston Breakers have acquired two third-round draft picks from Seattle Reign FC in exchange for midfielder Mariah Nogueira.

 (Oct. 23, 2013) - The Boston Breakers have acquired two third-round draft picks from Seattle Reign FC in exchange for midfielder Mariah Nogueira.

 
The Breakers received the No. 18 overall pick in the 2014 NWSL College Draft as well as Seattle’s third-round selection in the 2015 draft.
 
The deal was the second trade in a week for Boston, which picked up forward Courtney Jones from FC Kansas City on Oct. 17 in a transaction that included the two teams swapping first-round picks in the 2014 draft.
 
 
Nogueira appeared in 20 games (16 starts) for the Breakers in 2013. The Westminster, Calif. native had three goals and one assist in 1,408 minutes. Boston selected the Stanford product in the second round (No. 13 overall) of the 2013 NWSL College Draft. In addition to the No. 18 overall pick, Boston also owns the Nos. 7, 20 and 28 selections in the 2014 draft.
