The Boston Breakers didn’t disappoint in their debut at Dilboy Stadium. In front of 2,312 fans in Somerville, the Breakers beat FC Indiana, 4-1, on two goals from Australian international Kyah Simon, one from Simon’s Australian teammate Tameka Butt, and one from Katie Schoepfer.

Coming off a 3-0 victory in their WPSL Elite season opener last Thursday, the Breakers look to make it two in a row as they host FC Indiana Friday night in their home opener at Dilboy Stadium in Somerville, Mass.

The Breakers are set to make their home debut this Friday, May 18, against FC Indiana, and the game is sold out. This is the second home game the Breakers have sold out this season (the other is May 26 vs. Western New York Flash).

Two games, two victories for the Breakers. Two days after beating ASA Chesapeake Charge in their WPSL Elite opener, the Breakers topped USL W-League side DC United Women, 1-0, in an exhibition match Saturday night at the Maryland SoccerPlex.

 The Boston Breakers began their 2012 WPSL Elite season exactly as they wanted - with a win. Goals by rookies Veronica Napoli and Jessica Luscinski and second-year Breaker Katie Schoepfer, all within the first 15 minutes of the game, sealed a 3-0 victory Thursday night over ASA Chesapeake Charge in Arnold, Md.

The Boston Breakers head to Maryland on Saturday, May 12, to take on D.C. United Women in a preseason exhibition. The game will take place at the Maryland SoccerPlex, a venue the Breakers last played in 2010.

A majority of the players who will put on the 2012 Boston Breakers jersey arrived in town earlier this week, getting ready for the 2012 WPSL Elite League season, which kicks off in less than a month.
