(April 4, 2014) - The Boston Breakers are pleased to announce a new partnership with Steward Health Care System (Steward), a community-based health care network serving Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Steward will now be the official title sponsor and health care provider of the Boston Breakers, with logo presence on team jerseys for the 2014 National Women's Soccer League season. Steward also will be a sleeve sponsor of all of the Boston Breakers Academy teams from U9 to U20 and front jersey of the Boston Breakers College Academy and Reserve teams.
“We are pleased to sponsor the Breakers' Professional and Academy teams and provide orthopedic and sports medicine care to the players,” said Dr. Robert Nascimento, Director of the Bone and Joint Center at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. "This is a great opportunity for us to work with athletes of all ages, across many of the communities we serve.”
“I am really pleased to be extending our partnership with Steward Health Care. We have partnered with them for a few years now in smaller capacities. They are a fantastic partner, providing an incredible service," Boston Breakers general manager Lee Billiard said. "To expand that and build a stronger relationship by having them as a title sponsor of the pro team, along with a sponsor of our Breakers Youth Academy teams, is a great fit for both organizations.”
